1. Eligibility
- You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service.
- Users aged 13–17 must have the consent of a parent or legal guardian who accepts these Terms.
- By registering, you confirm that all information you provide is accurate and complete.
- You may not create an account on behalf of another person without their authorisation.
2. Your Account
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
- You are fully responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
- You must notify us immediately at support@acejamb.com if you suspect unauthorised access.
- We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
- One person may maintain only one account. Duplicate accounts may be removed.
3. Description of Service
AceJAMB provides an AI-assisted exam preparation platform featuring:
- A question bank of past examination questions sourced from publicly available materials for educational purposes
- AI-generated practice questions and explanations powered by third-party AI services (including Google Gemini)
- Computer-Based Test (CBT) mock exam simulations
- Progress tracking and analytics
- AI tutor functionality with explanations, mnemonics, and study tips
4. AI-Generated Content Disclaimer
Read carefully:
- A portion of our question bank is AI-generated for practice purposes. These questions are not official past examination questions.
- AI-generated questions and explanations may contain errors, inaccuracies, or outdated information.
- Our platform is a study aid only. We cannot guarantee that practising on this platform will result in a specific exam score or outcome.
- Always verify critical information against official syllabuses and textbooks.
- AI explanations reflect AI model outputs and do not constitute professional educational advice.
5. Intellectual Property
- All original content, software, design, and branding on this platform is the property of AceJAMB and protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
- Past examination questions are sourced from publicly available materials for educational and non-commercial study purposes.
- You may not reproduce, distribute, sell, or commercialise any content from this platform without our prior written consent.
- You may share individual questions or explanations for personal study purposes only.
6. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law or regulation
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Service or its infrastructure
- Scrape, copy, or systematically download question data, user data, or any other content
- Use automated tools, bots, or scripts to interact with the Service without our express permission
- Impersonate any person or entity or misrepresent your affiliation
- Upload or transmit viruses, malware, or any harmful code
- Attempt to reverse-engineer any part of the Service
- Use the Service to engage in academic fraud, cheating, or dishonest examination practices
- Share your account credentials with others or allow third parties to access your account
7. Payments and Premium Features
- Some features of the Service may be offered on a paid subscription basis ("Premium").
- All fees are displayed in Nigerian Naira (NGN) or as otherwise specified at the time of purchase.
- Payments are processed by third-party payment processors (including Paystack or Flutterwave). Your payment details are governed by their respective terms and privacy policies.
- Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled before the renewal date.
- Refunds may be requested within 7 days of initial purchase if you have not substantially used the premium features. Contact us at support@acejamb.com.
- We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice to existing subscribers.
8. Referral Programme and Sharing
- We may offer a referral programme that rewards users for inviting others to register on the platform.
- Referral rewards (where offered) are subject to separate programme terms which will be communicated at the time of the programme launch.
- Fraudulent referrals — including self-referrals, fake accounts, or any manipulation — will result in disqualification and account termination.
- When sharing content from our platform on social media or messaging apps, you may not misrepresent the source, remove our branding, or imply official affiliation with any examination body.
- We may feature user testimonials or results (with consent) in our marketing materials.
- By posting any review, testimonial, or feedback, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use that content in our marketing.
9. Third-Party Services
The Service integrates with or relies on third-party services including but not limited to:
- Supabase — database and authentication hosting
- Google (OAuth & Gemini AI) — sign-in and AI features
- Apple — sign-in with Apple
- Vercel — web hosting and content delivery
- Paystack / Flutterwave — payment processing (when applicable)
Your use of these services is governed by their respective terms and privacy policies. We are not liable for issues arising from third-party service failures.
10. Disclaimer of Warranties and Limitation of Liability
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED.
- We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses.
- We make no representations about the accuracy of AI-generated content or the suitability of the Service for any particular purpose.
- We are not responsible for any exam failure, academic disadvantage, or other outcome resulting from use of or reliance on the Service.
- To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, our total liability to you shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or ₦5,000, whichever is greater.
- We shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages.
11. Termination
- You may delete your account at any time by contacting us at support@acejamb.com.
- We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account immediately, without notice, for any breach of these Terms.
- Upon termination, your right to access the Service ceases. We may retain certain data as required by law or legitimate business purposes.
12. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify registered users of material changes by email or in-app notification. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. We encourage you to review these Terms periodically.
13. Governing Law and Disputes
- These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
- Any dispute arising from these Terms shall first be attempted to be resolved through good-faith negotiation.
- If unresolved, disputes shall be submitted to the jurisdiction of the courts of Nigeria.
